YOU CAN’T HELP SOMEONE WHO THINKS YOU ARE THE CAUSE OF THEIR PROBLEMS
Genesis 3:12-13 NASB
The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me some of the fruit of the tree, and I ate.” 13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
●If they are offended with you, it is difficult to receive from you.
●Blameshifting is a convenient crutch of the uncommitted.
●Accept personal responsibility and invite others into a lifestyle of extreme ownership.
●I cannot want it more than you do!
●I cannot care more about your life than you do!
QUESTIONS TO PONDER:
Are you enabling others to make you the ‘scapegoat’ and perpetually make you the source of all their issues? How can you partner with the Lord to break the cycle?
