October Week 3

Oct 17, 2021

In week three, we head to Acts 16:13-15. We look at a moment from one of Paul’s travels where we meet a woman named Lydia. Lydia had a unique skill: the art of making clothing with purple dye. This set her apart and gave her standing among the “upper class” of Philippian society. Lydia also followed God. When Paul and his companions traveled to Philippi, they found Lydia and other women meeting and praying. Lydia became a follower of Jesus and became a leader in the church at Philippi. Bottom Line: Use your gifts to help others. Each of us has something we’re good at. Just like God used Lydia, God can use our skills and talents to help others and make a difference in the world around us.
